Biography
Mahmoud Shirzad was killed on January 8, 2026, in the Aryashahr district of Tehran. He died after being shot by security forces of the Islamic Republic. He is commemorated as a 'Javidnam' within the Iranian protest movement for his sacrifice.
محمود شیرزاد در ۱۸ دیماه ۱۴۰۴ در منطقه آریاشهر تهران بر اثر شلیک مأموران جمهوری اسلامی جان باخت. نام او به عنوان یکی از جاویدنامان جنبشهای اعتراضی که جان خود را در راه آزادی فدا کرد، در یادها ثبت شده است.
